1. When is the best time to go on safari in Tanzania?

Tanzania is a year-round safari destination.

Best overall time: June to October (dry season) – best for wildlife viewing.

Great Migration:

Calving season: Jan–Feb (Southern Serengeti)

River crossings: July–Sept (Northern Serengeti)

Green season: Nov–May – fewer crowds, lower prices, lush landscapes.

Yes, most travelers require a visa to enter Tanzania.

  • You can apply online (e-visa) or get it on arrival at major airports.

  • Tourist visas are valid for 90 days.

  • Passport must be valid for at least 6 months beyond your arrival.

  • Some lodges have age restrictions, but many are family-oriented.

  • Game drives are shortened for younger kids.

  • We provide child car seats on request.

Yes, some vaccinations are recommended:

  • Yellow fever (required if coming from certain countries)

  • Hepatitis A & B

  • Typhoid

  • Tetanus

  • Malaria prophylaxis is also recommended.

  • Cash (USD or TZS, depending on agreement)
    Deposits (usually 30–50%) are required to confirm bookings.

We use 4×4 Toyota Land Cruisers with:

  • Pop-up roofs for great viewing

  • Window seats for every guest

  • Charging ports

  • In-car fridge or cool box

  • VHF radio for communication
    Our vehicles are fully serviced and driven by experienced safari guides.

For group tours: usually 6 people per vehicle.
For private safaris: just your group or family.
Private vehicle upgrades are available upon request.
